Is it possible to set the left lever so that I can operate with only one button the front chainring/front derailleur and with the other button the Wahoo bike computer? I don't need two buttons to hear up/down as I only have to chainrings anyways, right? Is it one of the settings in the screenshot maybe?

Update the firmware. You need to connect the shifter to your battery for this process. In my case I’ve used a junction box (coupling part with 2 female ends) and uses the front derailleur cable. The shifters have a port for this purpose (check instructions). Or if you don’t want to spend 20€ for a cable and junction box, go to your LBS.
