

Bought a used trainer, main use will be to try and get an at-home bike fit, but if it works I might use it too.
Problem is, one side (first image) keeps slipping out of the trainer when I try getting on the bike. I can't seem to figure out if I've done something wrong or if I'm missing a piece. Apologies if this is a silly question!

See the three stepped notches on the left? You’ve got it on the widest setting. When you put tension on the right hand lever, there should be a considerable compression on the QR.
Then set roller pressure just enough so that you cannot skid the tire when you’re holding the roller fixed.
Should the skewer be flipped? My Kinetic slides over the whole skewer end and has a notch for the lever.
Is that QR skewer the one that came with the trainer? It kind of looks like it doesn’t actually seat in the cup like it’s supposed to.
