This video is the 1st in a series of 8 that follows our journey this past summer along the Rhine River from its source in the Swiss Alps near Andermatt to the North Sea in Amsterdam.

This 1000km+ journey makes its way through six countries Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany, France and the Netherlands. It follows mostly dedicated bike lanes and trails on the Eurovelo 15.

This first episode covers the first day of our journey from Oberalp Pass near Andermatt Switzerland and the source of the Rhine River and our ride down the valley 87km to Chur.

We rented our bikes through racefietstehuur.nl and worked with Tomas who delivered our gravel bikes to Andermatt and outfitted us with bikepacking gear and a chariot to carry our camping gear. We highly recommend his services.
