The lugs look nice it’s probably a half decent frame, I often have this question in the shop I work at and the answer is usually – worth is personal, to me I think it’s worth putting £300 wheels and a £250 brake set onto a £500 entry level hybrid (my commuter) but to somebody else that would be outrageous.. it really depends on the person asking and what they are expecting to get out of it. It seems with this build you probably won’t get your money back if you intend to sell however if you want something unique and retro and built by you then I’d say go for it 🙂

if it’s not roasted and you can get the hub out: restore it. The chap beater bikes are usually the favorites. You can let the paint job remain an eyesore or make it really flashy, that usually makes the whole deal worth it.
and better buy some of those chain tighteners for those dropouts. I have a similar frame and that shit slips out very easy without retention.
