I’ve added extra slack so the chain isn’t tight, chain and cog are 1/8” and I’ve got the wheel as straight as I can. How can I fix this?
Switched from 48/17 to 48/19. Now the drive train sounds crunchy and I feel vibration through the pedals while riding

If you didn’t fit a new chain, then put a wee little bit more slack in the chain.
How worn was the 17T cog? Chains and cogs wear together, putting on a new cog with a worn chain may result in compatability issues. Is your front chainring a thick/thin one? Check the chain is correctly aligned with the teeth of the chain ring.
Probably caused by a new cog and a not new chain so they don’t mesh together well. Had that happen on some gears when I changed a new freewheel with the old chain ring and old chain. Eventually it went away after riding.
