The Vello fold is hot garbage compared to the Brompton.

Unless you want bigger wheels or a Rohloff hub, the Brompton does a far better job than Velo at being a portable bike. A folded Vello is basically a Brompton in the middle of being folded.
Even then, Kinetics in Glasgow can add a Rohloff, 20” wheels or a disc brake to your Brompton.
