Just passed your motorbike test and wondering what daily riding life really feels like? In this unscripted motovlog, I dive into the surprising realities of beginner motorcycle life after passing my MOD2 in the UK.
I chat honestly about the struggles, frustrations, and small wins I’ve had since getting on the road—what nobody tells you about riding daily, from unexpected gear issues and weather pain, to the surprisingly meditative side of two wheels.
To give this ride a purpose, I’m heading out on a historical motorcycle road trip across Berkshire and Hampshire, tracing the route from Coombe Gibbet to Winchester, where I visit the site of a real 17th-century execution. We retrace the crime and punishment of Broomham and Newham—executed and gibbeted in 1676. It’s a mix of motorcycle journaling, local English history, and beginner biking commentary—ideal if you’re curious about motorcycle life and enjoy a moody bit of UK true crime.
🎥 This vlog is part of a new series on the real life of a new motorcyclist in the UK—with casual, unfiltered monologues, beautiful countryside riding footage, and a few stories thrown in along the way.

👍👍 great video. According to the sign in the pub, some bloke was hung for beastiality — eek!
Just waiting on my final yr uni exams to finish. Then full license, well restricted. Done my CBT and theory a yr ago now. Fingers crossed my insurance is okay. A friend is paying over £2500.
I’m looking to do my direct access this year. I just watched your previous video is the mod 2 the final test?
Have a look at Knox gear, not overly pricy but really good stuff.
Fab video. Not long until my MOD2 and excited to start exploring x
what do you use to film and record the voice on the bike? Loving these moto videos.
Great video. I always have my headlight on when riding to help with visibility (for others).
Loved the drone shots, dji as well?
Groovy video and some nice realisations of a new rider. The thing that has made the biggest difference to my 2 year riding "experience" is warm hands no matter what the weather…heated gloves and heated grips, total game changers.
