Have you tried looking into used bikes? If you’re based out of the Toronto area, you can get a higher range road bike for the same process range with better quality parts. The tourney from what I understand is fairly dated today (although I used it for about 2 years with no problems) and you can probably get something better. Try looking on kijiji/fb marketplace if you’re interested
