I’d say yes , is it the right fit for you size wise ?

500 for the gold chain 100 for the rest?
Honestly, I’d pass on that one for 300

$600 is a pretty fair ask. It’s a quality bike with a top end groupset. If you’re looking for a road bike, and it fits you, it’s not a bad deal by any means. Ignore the people saying it’s not even worth $300… half this sub thinks anything 5+ years old is worth less than a department store bike.

If it’s in good condition 500-600 probably a fair deal
Edit: don’t listen to the rim brake hate in some other comments. Take it with a grain of salt. If Tour de France pros could ride on rim brakes until just a few years ago, no reason most of us can’t today 🤷🏾♂️. Disc brakes are better, but rim brakes aren’t worthless.

My understanding is that Motobecane is the “house brand” for bikes direct dot com.
They source frames and components from the same factories that are supplying many other brands.
Since it isn’t one of the big brands, the resale value tends to not be as great.
I bought my hard tail 29’er from the website so I am not harshing on them at all
Just giving context on why it might go for cheaper, and the sort of challenge you might face if you want to sell in a few years to upgrade.
