I got a blue checkpoint alr5 a 2023 model in size 54 on clearance sale and noticed extreme pain in arms and back. The stem was a 100mm and the website says it should be 80mm. The shop had no free 80mm stems so I had to order it and will arrive next week.the shop had what I think is a 2024 alr checkpoint with a 80mm stem but wasn't willing to take the stem off and put on my bike but I did did sit on the 2024 and it felt amazing but the reach felt even more relaxed than what 20mm less should give. I looked at the seats and the seat on the 2023 I got is all the way forward and the the 2024 much further back. Am I imaging things or is the 2024 more less harsh to sit on? When my new stem arrives will I ever get the same level of relaxed or should I just return the 2023 and get a 2024?

You can slide your seat back on your bike along the rails under the seat. There will be two bolts to adjust.
The 3rd gen Checkpoint has a more upright geometry than the 2nd gen checkpoint; that might be what’s going on.
