Many people will probably disagree but I would probably take the CF 8 Di2 and would upgrade the wheels. The wheels on the 7 are a little bit better but I would probably upgrade them anyways…

I think it is better to get CF 8 because the frame is lighter, and the groupset is better. You can change wheels later; it is easier to change them than to change a groupset or a frame.

The Ultegra Servo Wave brakes are a genuine improvement. Other than that, you’re unlikely to notice a difference between the two.
