Hello all,
Looking to get a good solo tent for my bikepacking setup.
Will be used for expeditions up to 10 days both in UK / Spain.
I am currently considering either the Naturehike UL or Pro 1. Does anyone have experience with these or another recommendation? I am a little concerned about the durability of the UL, but the low pack size and weight is extremely appealing. Thanks in advance!

I recommend a search in this sub. NH 1up and 2up have been discussed multiple times with reviews.
I would strongly recommend a hooped bivvy for bikepacking – I have an Alpkit Elan which I love. Less than a kilo and packs very small but crucially you can roll your matt, sleeping bag and bivvy in one with the poles in the middle and get it in a dry bag – so you can set up camp in under 2 mins. Plus because it’s hooped you stay dry and unbitten by midwives.
Edit: I meant midges but I’m keeping it
Mmm, it’s a good tent but not my favorite – especially concerning that the entrance is in the head.
Maybe check the new Naturehike Star River UL – it is pretty light, spacious (after all, it’s a 2p tent), and the entrance is on the side.
I prefer the 2UP tents because it gives me room to layout my stuff (clothes, stuff charging, food, empty bags, shoes & helmet
Been on a number of bikepacing trips with it, so far so good.
Good luck. Remember, wild camping in Spain is no longer legal. It’s not hard to do or get away with, but it can put a real wrench into your journey if the wrong police find you.
I have a VAUDE Hogan SUL 1-2p and it’s nice. A bit in the higher range for what you get but has served me well.
Poles are attached to the inner tent: A no-go to me. And look at all the stake-out points. I count 9 even on the visible side alone.

I tried lots of options, from classic Naturehike CloudUp to various frameless shelters. Now I stopped on Lanshan 1 with a carbon pole. This setup is sub 1 kilo, quite spacious and requires little space. Also the tent is connected with the mesh liner and can be easily pitched in the rain.

I recently upgraded to the Hornet OSMO UL 1P and would recommend it to anyone. Packs up really small and has held up incredibly well in some pretty bad conditions. My only complaint is that I got used to how many interior pockets my old tent had, and this one just has a single overhead pocket.
