Buuuttt i’m looking for a bike, i’m 6’3” and probably going to ride with the fam around town, some bike paths. NW North Dakota so it’s not too crazy here!
i know the choice between a 29 and a 27.5 is tough but i need a little help here!
i’ve been looking at specialized the fuse here is on sale because they are phasing them out, and the rockhopper!
im wanting to stay sub $1000 but any tips and help doesn’t go unappreciated!

No rockhopper, because the rear hub size is 135mm. Old standard
Fuse is the current size, at 148mm
All medium to high end bikes are now 148mm
But if you wanna save $150, with less parts, and still 148mm, there’s a rocky mountain growler 20 for $850 at jensonusa. Rocky is a 29er, and ride is a 27.5
