Need the biking community's help in figuring out what bike I had (and lost)!
Obviously a Trek, but does anyone know the specifics just from looking at this? I recieved it as a gift in 2018. It was stolen from my "secured apartment building" in 2023 😭
I know it sounds silly, but I was never a super avid biker when I had it, so I just never thought to look at what model it was or what specs it had. But I do know that I LOVED it and don't know what to get now to replace it!
So that brings me to my next question. I need a new bike… I would love to get this one again but I'm certain it's out of my price range. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for someone to list something on Facebook marketplace for $200 or less.
Embarassingly enough, I get overwhelmed trying to figure out the differences and what would suit my needs. Can someone recommend something for me please?
I'll use it mostly on sidewalks, some road areas in the neighborhood, and some gravel through ways. And I will be pulling a child trailer behind. So really just leisure and scenic rides. I'd love to hear what you all the would be my best bet!

It’s a trek 7.2fx, or fx2. They changed the way their model names worked around then

When you buy get REALLY good locking systems.
I hate bike thieves. It’s not only the loss of a bike but the loss of a personal item which meant a lot to you and worked perfectly for your needs!
