You have the hole for it and the rims are machined, so why not? Get some of those classy metal cable clips.
I rode a fixed Kilo many years ago with a low ratio and brakes on both wheels, and it was *exceptionally* nice. Could slow down with minimal effort, and stop super quickly if needed. Just thinking about that experience relaxes me.
