Hello to all the Grail owners out there. I'm thinking about purchasing a Grail CF SLX. Since I also want to use it for bikepacking, it would be interesting to know if the axle can be screwed through the frame to use a threaded axle (this model: https://de.ortlieb.com/products/thru-axle-m6-connector).

I have this with Grizl but the Ortlieb thru-axle manual states that it should work with the UDH hanger which Grail have, but my personal opinion is that it’s going to look/be a little awkward as all spacers will be on the left side of thru-axle. Thru-axle is one size (specced for maximum length) fits all which is already quite long for 142 mm spacing and having all spacers (not sure if included spacers will even be enough) on one side it’ll end up poking out a lot.
