Join me on an unforgettable cycling journey through the heart of Southern Albania, as I explore the scenic and historically rich route from Gjorm to Lepenicë and Brataj. Starting from the outskirts of Vlora, I ventured into the beautiful Labëria region, pedaling through rolling hills, quiet villages, and breathtaking mountain views.
Along the way, I passed through Gjorm, a place known for its peaceful countryside and traditional charm. Lepenicë greeted me with its warm hospitality and stunning natural surroundings. Then came Brataj, a village steeped in history and nestled between hills that tell stories of Albania’s past.
The route was both challenging and rewarding, with some tough climbs, winding mountain roads, and even some rough patches caused by past landslides and erosion—especially the well-known depression between Vlora and Kotë, which reminded me of the power of nature and the resilience of local communities.
This trip wasn’t just about cycling—it was about connecting with the land, experiencing true Albanian culture, and enjoying the serenity that only a bike ride through untouched landscapes can offer.
If you’re a cycling enthusiast or an adventure traveler, this route should definitely be on your list. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more travel experiences!
