I've been looking on Facebook marketplace for my first road bike. I came across a Trek Alpha 2.1. I'd like to start with something relatively cheap to see if I even like road biking. The seller has listed it for $500, is this a fair price?

Crazy outdated and we’re in a market where new bikes are cheap as chips. If you’re interested hit them with $250, maybe even less. Idk if just the picture but the chainring looks worn, maybe a sign that other items are pretty used up?
