Sorry for pic selection, my “client” doesn’t understand how to present. When I search for Bicycle Corporation of America, I find an American manufacturer in South Carolina since 2014, affiliated with Kent Bicycles, manufacturing low end bikes, primarily for Walmart. This bike is decidedly older than that, with somewhat of a mishmash of parts. I note a lugged frame as well. My client would just like to get it in riding shape again. Suggestions, historical info beyond what I’ve found? Thanks!

Adding the word “Wikipedia” to the search helped me even though there is no wiki page.
American Bicycle Corporation appears to have started in 1980. [check it out here.](https://mtbtimeline.com/wiki/bca/start)
I could be wrong, but I believe BCA was in some way affiliated with, or sub-brand of, Ross bicycles of Allentown, PA.
Anyways, this looks like a mid-level bike from the early eighties, like ’81-’84 would be my guess. None of the parts are anything “special” or desirable, but they aren’t bad either. It’s just a mid-level bike for that time period.
