According to the Marin website, it would appear it needs a spacer in the back for the stock 180mm rotor.

Looks like the new bike is more like 160 rear. Did the old brake have an adapter? From the pictures I’ve seen of the El Roy’s with factory MT 400 brakes, the rear caliper is mounted on an 160 to 180 mm adapter.

use spacers as needed. It will work.
