In this 6th and final video from our bike tour from Prague to Vienna we finally cross the border over to Austria. We say goodbye to each other and I make my way by train to the Vienna Airport.

This is the last installment of this series, but I will make an epilogue video really son where I will summarize the trip. So if you have any questions about the trip please leave them in the comment section below and I will try to answer them in the next video.

Also stay tuned for the next series where I will go bicycle touring in Swedish Lapland.

  1. This is sadly the last video from this series. But stay tuned to the channel. On Thursday the first video from my bike tour of Swedish Lapland will be posted.

I will also do some sort of epilogue video to summarize the trip. So if you have some questions about the trip please feel free to ask them in the comment section below. I'll gladly answer your questions.

  2. Sad to see the end of the trip. Really enjoyed the videos as I pedaled along on my indoor trainer – well done. They have me excited to do the tour (in the opposite direction) in 2019! All the best over the holidays – Merry Christmas to you and your family.

  3. So you guys went all the way the last day! I see you packed your seat the way you said you would. And Kevin doesn't like rough camping so much, eh? I consider it a great success to get a campsite in the woods for free, especially if I poach it. But we see that Kevin did better yet, a free campsite with a pool!

  4. That's how I ration out my training riding days too; by what day it is and what time of the day (to, such as yourself, avoid heavy to treacherous traffic conditions). I hope you had a good time with Darren and Kevin. I am sure they hope to do more tour riding with you in the future.

  5. Nice video Mikael, a great trip for you guys! A couple of thoughts I had while watching your videos, one, maybe show more time at meal time, fixing your food and eating/conversing with the others, also, explain about the "bike bag", that is totally new to me, I haven't traveled in Europe with my bike, also the packing and arrangement/cost for putting the bike on the airplane.. Thanks so much for sharing!! It looks like such a great trip!! W.

  6. Just got home last night – what a great tour! I just re-watched the video and it looks like you had commercial plastic wrapping. I ended up going to a grocery store in Vienna and got two rolls of food wrap to secure our bike boxes. Did you carry that roll the whole trip or did you buy it somewhere in the Vienna airport? Mine worked but the commercial stuff is more 'clingy'.
