Looking to add the wolf tooth bottle cage doubler to my setup to run a Blackburn outpost cage with a drybag alongside a bottle cage with a 1L nalgene.
Not sure if I need the 2 slot or 3 slot base plate for my forks?
Also any suggestions on bottle cages for the Nalgene would be greatly appreciated!!

Depends if you have the old or new Outpost
The new one has a 3 mount. The old one is a 2 mount
Did you write to them? It’s clear to me reading their website that if you aren’t looking to move the cages up or down a lot, you can use the smallest ones.
Using bigger ones requires more faffing like foam and zip ties…
All explained on the website.
Use their size guide against the measurements of your bottle cages.
Should be standard sizing between the mounts.
I’d go for the longer one as it gives better flexibility and you’re unlikely to use one left over mount for anything.

I’d get the 3 slot to increase the strength of the mount by 50%, especially if you are going to load it up.
