Is $500 worth for an entry road bike. Plans to do a triathlon with it.
It has been ridden outside maximum 10 times and mounted on an indoor trainer for a decade & in storage when not used. Aluminum frame with carbon fibre forks & seatpost. Shimano 105 rear derailleur & Tiagra front derailleur. Unique 3X9 drivetrain provides lots of gearing options. Specialized Turbo 700X23 tires mounted on Alexrims AT400. There appears to be lots of clearance to accommodate larger tires. Shimano SPD cleats are included.

Not even kind of a good deal. Retail on this thing when it was new was probably $850… nearly 20 years ago.
A bit high for me. It’s a 17 year old bike. Who knows how much sweat has been basting it for ages and getting crustified, since its main role has been an indoor trainer bike. You’d also wanna check out the chainrings to see if they’re worn, based on how long it’s been on the trainer.
I think the max tire clearance is 28mm. Which is fine by me. But it might even max out at 25mm.
Personally if I were desperate for a bike and this was the only one in my size, I’d still only pay… max, $300? See if I can ask for less? That is, if I really wanted a mid-entry aluminum road bike.
That’s just my take. Others might think differently.
I personally think the lister should have priced it at $350 instead of $500. And then expected to part ways with it for $200-250. But again, that’s just me.
if usd, 300.
its 17 years old and wasn’t even a top bike in its time.

I agree on $100. It’s a PoS.
