Looking to get my first road bike so I’m looking at used. Would like to stay under $4-500. Here’s what I found so far I’m wondering if any look worth it?
1: cannondale delta v 1500 listed for $250
2: Poseidon ambition x $500 (description: 1 year old, only ridden about 110 miles. Standard equipment includes Carbon fiber fork, 700c wheels, Tektro mechanical disc brakes, and Microshift Advent Z 1×10 group set. Comes with upgraded WTB byway tires, 42T round oval chain ring, IXF cranks, and raceface chester pedals.)
3: giant road bike $350

the first bike is not a road bike and isn’t really what you’re looking for. as for the other two, the most important thing is your size. you need to look at the sizing charts for these bikes and size yourself according to them. you’re not going to want to ride a bike that doesn’t fit you. both of them are good bikes. the poseidon is a more modern lower-end bike and the giant is an older higher-end bike, so it will likely have better quality components and will be lighter. i would personally pick the giant and try to talk the price down to $250-$300.
