Somehow this 2014 Boardman FS team 650 B crossed the Atlantic and this yank got hold of it.
I’ve been enjoying the bike but decided it was time to get rid of the rusty Avid DOT fluid brakes and replace them with mineral oil breaks that were nice and shiny.
However, I did not Take careful notes when removing the old brakes and while the mounts have provided a pretty clear path, I am surprised that the brake hose runs so close to the left hand crank.
I’ve collected an assortment of pictures that people have taken of their bikes and it all seems to go in this direction.
I guess it works, but does anyone do anything differently to prevent the brake hose getting caught up in something?

My FS bike from a different brand is routed the same way, I wouldn’t worry about it.
