Spec is on the second image.

Looking to get a 1x. The drop seat routing and hydraulic brakes make this an even more enticing purchase. I’m not a beginner in any means but I feel like I’m missing out on a lot of new tech and the simplicity of a 1x just means so much less headache in the long run (for me at least). Is this really an entry level bike? Would I get bored with this as a seasoned rider? I can see myself upgrading the fork down the line, maybe even the stem and headset..

  1. New – Probably not by much.

Used – Absolutely, but has its own risks. If you were in the used market with approx 600usd, I would expect to get a nicer air fork, 1×12 (probably deore or sx), and maybe even a dropper, at least in my local market.

  2. I did find a used KHS Aguila with the 1×12 deore however the chain looked overstretched, cassette extremely worn out and overall it did not look well maintained at all. The seller wanted $750 ($520ish usd) but I’d imagine I’d need another $150-$200 to get it fixed up before I can use it.

Aside from that the used market in my area is absolute ass. Can’t find any decent hardtail with an XL frame that hasn’t been used and abused.
