On April 19, 1943, young Swiss chemist Albert Hoffmann took the first unintentional acid trip. Thousands of psychedelic users worldwide now commemorate this epic day as Bicycle Day.
Some folks first became familiar with the story from the book “How to Change Your Mind” by Michael Pollan.

I didn’t know Hoffman lived that long. But when I met Timmothy Leary in his 70’s I knew LSD couldn’t be all that bad 🤔
