I’m wondering how to know if the new bearings will fit where the old ones were, it doesnt have sizes. Also my crank is 177mm, and my foot hits the tire sometimes. The ones cranks online are 160-175, so is mine larger than normal? Also will it fit my sprocket and pedals. And would it fit the bike being a different style crank? It looks like the pedals would be closer to the frame with the new style.

Your current bike has an American bottom bracket so you need a bottom bracket that size or an adapter.
What you have there is a very old 1 piece crank, which was what 1st generation BMX had in the 80s and into the 90s.
So either than isn’t a 2011 GT Slammer (I’m not knowledgeable about modern GTs) or somebody put a single piece crank in a 2011 GT.
I would say
1. hold off spending any money on modern 3piece cranks because I doubt they will fit. Your bike has screw in cups with loose ball bearings in tje bottom bracket.
2. Either way don’t order from Source because they went into administration last week and I wouldn’t want to be giving them money and hoping to get anything delivered, or returned if it isn’t right.
3. The gearing on your rear wheel is going to be sifnificantly higher than a modern BMX. It will be an old school freewheel type with about 22 teeth (vs 9 teeth on a modern). So you need that HUGE chain wheel to give you a rideable gearing ratio. I very much dount you can fit a modern BMX crank but also find a compatible chain sprocket that big.
Take that GT to a good bike shop and ask them what your options are.
Apple Store drip. How do you reply to a comment on here?
Come wrench/bearing press. If your riding freewheel the bearings are a bitch to overhaul. Without all these special tools. It you ha a real bike and not some Walmart crap, yo probably have sealed. Wheel hubs with the bearings are enclosed in a cassette or one of those cassette which are exposed bearings, snapped into a cassette with clips. If your freewheeling
You have to have a cone or creasent wrench , a stick magnet and the bearing press has these multiple measured holes on side where they measure bearing sides
Mostbiles have 8or nine on each side. Need a tub of grease, a chain tool
Which unlocks a link from chain to open it andsock chain in viniger /baking soda . Takesrust off. Drop in a can of kerosene, then rinse off.
Then some good lubricant after cleaning off from them give it a good lube. NO WD 40.

As far as i know, 1 piece crank pedals always different size than 2/3 piece cranks so your pedals most likely wont fit. dont remember off top of my head on 1 piece sprockets for 3 piece. look at the bolt placement for current one your getting, the arm bolt see if itll match up, if it does then fits.
on a side note, you can awlays keep the same 1 piece cranks, amazon sells blackops 1 piece cranks for like $35 and with amazon warranty, youll be able to return em for full refund no prob if within like 90 days, go out ride hard, need to return em no prob get your money back and seek better option.
