  1. Enough for what? Surviving? Yes. Not puncturing? Possibly. Enjoying yourself? Absolutely not.

  2. Tubes or tubeless?

Probably won’t be super comfortable either way. But tubeless would allow a little less pressure which should help.

That’s one of the few terrains I could see the 50mm gravel tires being beneficial on.

Personally, I wouldn’t abuse that bike with that surface, but that’s just me. I’d be looking at something heavier duty on like 42s or 45s for that.

I was riding yesterday on a path almost exactly as this one and my 45 mm rugged tires kept sinking between that loose gravel. I couldn’t even imagine riding on that with a skinny 35 mm tires with almost no thread. Also keep in mind that if you ride semi fast, rocks will fly everywhere.

You will sink into the loose stone layer and be fighting for your life to move forward. That’s super big tire territory imo, like mountain bike tires.

Where’s the banana for scale. Are those boulders or pebbles? We need a banana here if we are to provide accurate advice.

Yes, I ridden “baby heads” on 35, just takes focus and bike handling skills.
