You’ll need a longer stem to balance out the twitchy handling, otherwise it’s a commuter’s dream.

Perfect commuter if you live on the north side of a velodrome and work on the south side.

  3. As long as there is no traffic at all, including all kind of animals, on your way it’s perfect.

  4. It’s not, at all. It’s a dedicated track racing machine. The seatpost is obviouisly intended to be cut down but even sized right it’s an aggressive fixed gear track bike (no coasting, no brakes except your resistance against the rear wheel)

That said, if you actually raced track, for a TK1 in great shape with carbon wheels and handlebars that aren’t the sphinx, it’s not a bad price.

  5. I’d get rid of those spacers in the steerer tube, personally. Get that slick, slammed look.

It is brilliant for traffic because as soon as you sit up, you have the same seat height and visual viewpoint as a large SUV or an f-150.

  7. I can feel my back is aching. Seriously, I am shocked the seat post can go this far.

Gonna have a hard time getting aero with the seat so low

Your local mechanic should be able to raise it a couple feet for you for a modest fee
