Can't believe they force him to wear absolutely redundant mechanical watch while racing. I mean I wear watches all the time, but defo not on the bike.
This is why you don’t wear rings on your fingers either. Safety over fashion. Amateur racers take note.
Take an casio or a swatch and you will be fine and can buy 15 new high class bikes.

We needed watches then. No computers or com.
I used a Timex
It worked great!
For a sport where every saved gram is vital, wearing a watch during a race seems totally pointless.
