Ater approx 1 600 kilometres in this saddle I dont have a single issue.. IMHO it depends a lot on the shape of your pelvis..

I had it for about 2k miles but then I fell and snapped the front off so I had to replace it.

I didn’t have any issues with the stock saddle until it ripped three of my pants in quick succession.

  4. Over 7000 kilometers on model X and not gonna change it until it breaks. It’s really difficult to compare saddles apples to apples as we’re all built different, so there’s always a human factor into it. One would say it’s great, another one it’s the worst saddle money can buy

also not a fan of the saddle of my Gravel. probably the first time I swap the saddle on a bike. bit sad that a 4.8k bike comes with worse saddle then many <1k bikes.

  6. I actually quite like it… Apart from the bib tearing part. Got the novus with the same shape without the problems.

I did multiple 200km + rides and around 10k km total on it. Never had an issue with destroying my bibs and my butt never hurt me. Lately I changed it because it broke but i choose Selle Italia Novus- it has nearly 1:1 shape as model X which fits me and has a little bit more padding. Didn’t notice any changes tbh.

Its all personal preference and i think hate on this saddle is too big- people usually don’t have bikes set properly and blame everything on saddle

  8. I swapped it for a decathlon one that costs 15 euro or something. My asshole still thanks me every day for it

  9. I swapped it for my old one Novus Endurance Superflow. X was suprisingly similar (a little bit worse) in terms of comfort, but I had the feeling that this strange, rubberized material would destroy my bibs.

The Model X was sent by the gods as punishment by eternal torture for every transgression you’ve made in this life.
