I see many problems here. Be more specific which one do you want to solve.

You’re going to need a new derailleur and probably a new hanger and a new chain.

That chain is nasty. It must be costing you about 50 watts just to turn it.
I’d bin the chain and expect to bin the whole drive chain because if you’ve ridden like that for any distance the lack of lubrication will have destroyed all of it.
eijmert_x on
yes, but you might want to replace your entire drivetrain at this point.

Cassette and chain look pretty toast. Dunno about rear mech, can’t see from the photo, but new ones ate probably only £10

You have to replace the derrailleur and the hanger, cassette and chain for sure

Grab a new derailleur and chain, possibly a new cassette, and if you buy a better derailleur secondhand you’ll get much better performance than an Altus. They’re slightly better than Tourney, but only just. Still pretty bad.

Yes…… But probably not economically viable.
Just from what can be seen in the photo the bill for new parts alone won’t be nice. If you are able to do the work yourself there is a slim chance that you might be able to get all the parts for less than the cost of a new bike but if you can’t and would need the work done by a shop it’s not even worth taking in for them to quote a price.

Yup, put on a new derailleur and chain, done

Depends on what you want, if you just want something to toodle around on cut the rear derailleur cable, throw away the derailleur, turn it into a single speed running from the large chainring to the best aligned cog, oil the hell out of the chain and it could work.
You probably need to inflate the tires and there may be other unseen problems.
I agree with the other comments though that it’s probably too damaged to be worth much money to fix. If that chain is rusted as I think it is it probably may not bend and my idea won’t work. If the chain is that rusted, what about the rest of the bike

Seriously? Unless there’s some sort of extreme emotional attachment involved, this bike needs to go to the dump. Sorry 😢

How tf is that chain still working?!
You could save the screws.
Replace the rest.
