Dear community
Today I heard a noise and discovered that a cover that protects the frame when the bike is folded was loose. As a precaution, I removed it and found this hole all the way down the face that had a nut or something, but I can't figure out what it is.
Any ideas?

It’s the mounting point for the 2 speed chain pusher. (Derailleur). Assume yours is just a 3 speed.
