  1. I’d say no, but before we even get into that…this is a downhill mountain bike. That is literally what that means. In order to have fun on this bike you really need some sort of shuttle or lift service. Any sort of climbing on this bike will be hell.

I haven’t been up there in a while but there use to be a spot called Ridetopia down the street from MCBP – they had a great staff and usually some pretty sweet deals on DH bikes. If it’s still there I’d check that out.

You can probably find a better deal on a used DH than this GT.

  3. I wouldn’t. Who knows how well used the bike is and how well maintenaned it is (especially for that age). Additional isnt gt cooked these days? Like getting a replacement frame or rocker if something breaks would be a pain.

What is your budget? Creek often sells of its demo fleets at the end of the season. The bikes are used but typically the shop will refurbish them well.

  4. I just got a commencal clash 2021 for $1,300 a couple weeks ago on pinkbike. I’m not a used-bike genius, but this GT is old & overpriced

  5. No, it doesn’t even have Boxxers or Fox 40s, and even if it did, that would still be too much. Probably worth around 600-700$, and that’s still pretty high tbh.

Add a couple hundreds and you can get a new Gt btw. They’re on sale.

    No go at 1.5k.
