  1. Go for less speed and more pop. You’re overshooting the first jump a bit, not pumping the landing, and not generating enough pop off the second lip

  2. you are just letting speed and the lip do all the work. you need to jump up like you are trying to dunk a basketball with your legs.

    More air pressure will definitely help.
    Try pumping the run in roller and stay low/scrub to go faster on the first jump. Pump the landing a bit more as well. Easier said than done. Just session the first jump a bunch of times. When it feels good go for the 2nd.

    You are landing deep into the first jump. Pop more and then pump the landing and you will gain speed. When you do it right it is very noticeable in the feel because it is a super smooth exit.

    Nothing wrong with the first jump. When you land start bending your knees and preload earlier near the bottom of the second jump. Do this with your legs and not your arms. You can get the same effect loading your arms and front forks but it’s a bad habit to get into. You’ll get more power with your legs and get a more consistent jump using legs.

    Like others say, slow it down a bit. Also, nose in more to take advantage of the landing to generate more speed. You can’t generate more speed if you’re not in contact with the trail surface.

    Tire and suspension pressure way too low. Either jack those up or put more energy into the bike

  8. I think the skill of carrying your speed is one of the top skills that aren’t taught enough. I really struggle with it personally. I attribute it to my extremely weak core but I think plenty of people with weak cores are much better at carrying their speed than I am, so I don’t accept that as an excuse.

  9. Bike is too squishy. Firm up the suspension and lock the rear. Or ride a hardtail/rigid. You lose a lot of momentum on a full squish.
