Finally pulled the trigger on some Cane Creek 85mm tubulars for $401. This is not the bike they will be going on but I couldn’t wait so I took off the downhill bars and the ellipses for my spare 3T Scatto that were sanded to bare carbon and these sweet wheels. This is the first time throwing on drop bars on this bike as this was a spare Thomson I had laying around, definitely needed a longer stem, but it was just to test the wheels out.
Out of curiosity, weighed the bike with these heavy ass Time Atacs and it came in at 6.81kg or 15.2lbs.
