In my experience it worked OK (not this exact paint but similar) but the hard part was finding a good clearcoat that didnt chip off. Otherwise your paintjob looks 15 years old after a month

So I got my frame sandblasted and then powder coated. So many colors to choose from and resistant to scratches. Had a carbon fork though so used spray bike paint (https://spraybike.us/) for that and it looks great

Had a buddy paint a carbon frame with Montana cans and 2k clear and it came out mint. Looked great and masking peeled off clean. I’d recommended using a Montana primer though. It’s all about the prep.
