The original Raleigh Choppers were made in Nottingham England and exported to all parts of the world. From 1969 and through to the early 1980’s over 1.5 million Choppers were sold.
Choppers were an iconic bike in the 70’s and were the dream of young kids to own one. Today Choppers can be found in all states of repair, from rusted out bikes found in hedges and old sheds to pristine bikes fully restored. Kids that missed out in the joy and excitement of owning one and those that were lucky to have been given one can re-live their dreams and childhood youth and go out and buy one today.
