Didn't pretty much everything except the derusting, cleaning and polishing at my local bike coop.
New bars, seat post, tyres, racks. Derusted and polished just about everything (incl. some major rust spots on the frame), repainted a few bits. Set up for bikepacking.
Was considering going blackout but decided to just keep it simple with mainly original parts for the first one. And the tan wall tyres were cheaper.

This is more accurate to the paint colour.
Nice build! I had a white 1991 Topanga that got stolen in college that I still miss some days. Check your crankset. Those look like the recalled Altus/Alivio/Acera cranks. **FC-CT90, FC-M290,** or **FC-MC12**
