Welcome to Vlog #0015! This week kicks off a bit differently—I had a lazy morning and skipped my usual sunrise workout. Instead, I decided to enjoy an afternoon bike ride from Hove to Brighton, heading to my new favourite spot, The Reading Room on Marine Parade.

I grabbed my trusty foldable bike—a Halfords special—from underneath the stairs, and off I went. The Reading Room, built in 1835 by renowned architect William Kendall, is steeped in history. Originally designed as a serene retreat for the residents of Lewes Crescent, today it blends its historic charm with modern comforts. Owned by Karl, this beautifully restored café offers stunning sea views, excellent coffee, delicious cakes, and great conversation.

After enjoying a relaxing break at The Reading Room, I jumped back on my bike and continued with my afternoon.

Later in the week, I visited Brighton City Airport for an afternoon coffee at Coffee No. 8, a fantastic café airside, serving freshly ground coffee, teas, homemade cakes, and sandwiches.
Also featured in this vlog, I received exciting new stock for my sustainable clothing brand, Alewk Club. This delivery comes from a brand doing amazing things within the ethical fashion industry.

As spring evenings are getting longer, my wife and I spent a lovely evening on Hove seafront near Rockwater, enjoying dinner and watching an incredible sunset.

Finally, with perfect weather on Friday morning, I headed to the beach at 6:00 AM for an invigorating paddleboarding session. Starting from King Alfred Leisure Centre, I paddled all the way to the iconic ruins of Brighton’s old West Pier, soaking in the sunrise along the way.
