I'm still here because of this Kask protone. A hidden cat appeared suddenly in the trail and crashed against my front wheel. I flew over the bike and landed directly in my head. No concussion and no broken bones, just a lot of painful scrapes and soreness in my body.
Do not save any budget when buying high quality helmets.

Hope the road rash isn’t too bad. If you ride enough you’re gonna crash eventually. Every time I’ve ever crashed I’ve been glad for the helmet

Concussion symptoms may appear a week or more after an incident, do keep an eye out and rest proactively 🙂

Wow, that’s a pretty big crack in the helmet (and to the back of the head).
Hope you’re doing ok. I would probably assume concussion and follow the best medical practices for dealing with it.
