Looks to be in good shape and seems to have a good group set, which is important as it would be my first road bike; I don’t want to feel like I missed some upgrades once I’m a few hundred miles in. Good buy? I’d love some recommendations for other great first road bikes if you’re replying!

Yeah seems like a great first road bike. I’m kinda curious to see what kind of saddle is under that hideous cover but that wouldn’t deter me either way. The stem is kind of short and pointy uppy, which may be advantageous for a first road bike, but if it feels kinda cramped or too upright, know that you can easily get lower and/or more stretched out with a change of stem.
good starting point if you’re at least medium tall. SPD shoes, seat, and stem would be some possible upgrade/change avenues but it looks good overall.
