      If somebody gave me 2000 pounds or dollars, I wouldn't go for anything high-end. I would take the money that's left over, for mechanical work over, then kit it out rack assemblies trailer, pack system, lights, and reflectors.

      I bought a second hand bike on buycycle for 4800.- pounds its a 2023 model and costs 13‘000.- pounds new. I simply had to buy that 😛😛😛

      That's what I bought.
      As my Cube Attain GTC is still standing around with the original foil wrapping on the bartape I'd spend the money for a holiday for using it! 🤭

      Got an Orbea orca OMX with an sram force electric. Bike looks in pretty good shape. Some mini scratches that I could fix. All for 3000Eur from a dealer. I’ve met the previous rider. Nice guy he just wasn’t happy with the color of the bike and Ja …. Great deal.

      $2000 pounds for a bike? I think that's nuts and who has that kind of a budget? Before I launched into road biking again and upped cycling generally for some massive PT gains last year, I bought a 600 dollar bike, which has turned out to the most valuable bike I've ever owned in terms of the PT without question. Yeah it doesn't have disk brakes, nor forward gears, has frame lever shifting, and a steel frame, but so what? It was all I personally needed for doing my thing and being in much better shape at a much better weight. No one passes me up either.

      Started using Buycycle based off of y’all’s recommendation and I have to say, the concept is AMAZING, I love what they are doing with this – but the service is not scaling well. I paid for a bike well over a month ago and there’s no sign of the seller interacting right now – no sign of a bicycle… I just hope the business can scale out more safely to ensure a quality experience for folks ❤

      Honestly this makes me just hate YouTube. Buycycle is not a well run service. The sellers on there are legit and the bikes are real. I just would never intrust a super expensive bike or my funds with them again. It’s when things go wrong when you find out. They have no functional customer service. Their packaging is a joke and their buyer protection is an even bigger joke. Use at your own risk.
