Toys was my training hill for the Etape. I live in Warlingham so I used to go up Sundridge Road, down Ide Hill and then up Toys and round again! I avoid Titsey like the plague, too many poor drivers that fly up there for me. Nice to see you enjoying my local roads, you’ll have to do the reverse and include Beddlestead and out past Hever to Chiddington for a stop at the Tulip Tea Rooms 👌

Society is sad isn't it, so may people just seem so angry all the time. Your right though it's best not to engage especially if they are in a car and your right with stabbings left right and centre it is just not worth it is it. Looked a lovely ride though. I do love Tom's bike though it's a beaut ❤
Nice early morning rides are the best, seeing people catch up with you on their own days, I might have to aim for botley farm but from the east, as soon as the bike is fixed. (again)

If someone is giving you agro then you can simply defuse it by saying random stuff in response. It pulls the rug from under them and there is no way to fuel the situation further. Just get a couple of one-liners prepped and you’ll be good next time 😊

Getting out early is good, and that looked a really nice mornings riding. Nice to see Tom with his cryptic ripostes, and Izzy was eating hills for breakfast. Superb efforts all round.
You did the right thing with Mr Cokesnort chav. He should try and impress his girlfriend in the bedroom, not by trying to bully some cyclists.
