Went to go for a ride and couldn’t get out of the smallest cog. Pulled over and realised my shift levers weren’t engaging the cable at all. Zero movement when pressed in all directions. Images attached. This bike is 4 days old from new. I’ve ridden it twice. Voodoo Limba. Also yes, I bought it pre built by Halfords.

Your derailleur cable is damaged and needs to be replaced, possibly the housing or barrel adjuster as well based on the photo. For a three day old bike this is a warranty issue.
I fix everything on my bike myself but if I had a three day old bike with issues I’d take it back to where I bought it.

The cable can’t be pulled, it’s sectionned almost off..
Definitely back to the shop. It shouldn’t have busted the outer cable housing there without a crash. It looks like a shop fault to me. But thats just my opinion
It was possibly put together without a ferrule, or it wasn’t put on straight or all the way. The outer needs to be replaced and have a readjustment
Cables are fecked and need replacing which should sort it out. The minute you said Halfords that was enough. Not sure what they are like near you but near me they sacked all the bike mechanics who knew what they were doing and replaced them with staff who had been on a 2 hour course for how to assemble bikes from boxes to save money on wage bills. Was around the same time that Pinarello dropped them as a stockist.
