I pulled the trigger and financed a Brompton! My original plan was to save for another year or two and get a T-line model. Instead I got the basic but hardy C-line Explore with rack and dynamic lighting. I ordered the front basket so I can take advantage of the “shopping cart” fold when needed.

I purchased the C-line for work as my Solorock is not as up to my frequent use as I’d like. I was paying for major annual tune ups three times a year to keep it functional. Also this C-line can handle rougher terrain.

I bought a 3 year maintenance plan and insurance to cover all the wear/tear, accidents and theft risks.

I figured this would be a good and necessary deduction for my taxes as an independent pet care provider.

Someday I’ll get the T- line for travel, but this is great for my work.

Anyway I’m happy to be part of the club!

  1. Welcome to the fold! A folding bike like the Brommie is perfect for self-employed folk and entrepreneurs.
