Attempting to service my pawls and bearings. The XD driver will not budge coming off the axle. It’s coming off of a crankbrothers synthesis hub. I’ve followed the crankbrothers hub service direction to a T and nothing. Both end caps are off. Any ideas?

Can you just unseat it from the hub shell first? Like tap the other side of the axle and remove the axle, bearing and freehub driver together? Then you can place the bearing and freehub on/in a vice and hammer the axle out the other way.(?) I do this with some of the hubs that just pull apart when things get stuck.
