Princess Charlotte to celebrate milestone on Buckingham Palace balcony with Louis and George. Princess Charlotte will appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony just days after celebrating her 10th birthday on May 2, according to new claims.
The young royal will join her parents, the Prince and Princess of Wales, alongside her brothers, Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, who will have then turned seven. The Palace appearance will be part of commemorations marking the 80th anniversary of VE Day, according to the Mirror. The royal children will witness a spectacular flypast featuring current and historic aircraft, including the Red Arrows display team. The King will be joined by his closest family members for the historic occasion, according to the outlet. The Queen will stand alongside His Majesty on the famous balcony.
The Princess Royal and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, will also be in attendance. The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh are expected to appear, potentially with their children Lady Louise, 21, and James, Earl of Wessex, 17. Other working royals, including the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and possibly the Duke of Kent, will likely join the gathering. GB News has contacted both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace for comment.
The monarch will view a military procession from the Buckingham Palace balcony, the same spot where Winston Churchill appeared in 1945. A source said: “His Majesty is dedicated to bring his family and the country together in honour of Britain’s war dead and recreate the sense of community that came with the celebrations to mark VE Day.” The parade will enter Horse Guards Parade as aircraft perform the flypast overhead. The four-day commemorations will begin on bank holiday Monday, May 5.
Events will start with the Cenotaph being dressed in Union flags. A music and entertainment concert will be held at Horse Guards Parade in London.
Prince Louis, Princess Charlotte and Prince George ‘say nothing’ to Prince William as he faces common parenting challenge. Prince William has opened up about a common parenting challenge he faces with his three children, revealing he struggles to get them to talk about their school day.
The Prince of Wales, 42, made the candid admission during a visit to Liverpool on Thursday, where he met with primary school children at Tiber’s Young People’s Steering Group in Toxeth. After asking young students about their day at school and receiving minimal responses, the future King shared that he experiences the same situation at home with Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince Louis, six. William said: “I ask my children this every day and they always say nothing. Absolutely nothing.”
When one child replied “Not really,” the Prince burst into laughter before sharing his own experience as a parent. The visit also saw William receive three special envelopes containing £10 notes for each of his children, part of a ‘Smile Challenge’ aimed at making them beam without giving them the money.
Upon accepting the envelopes, William remarked: “This one will be a good one for Louis, he needs a good challenge.”
The Prince appeared to enjoy his time with the students, despite the cold weather and was filmed rubbing his hands together to stay warm during the outdoor activities. During his Liverpool visit, William also shared insights into family cycling adventures with his children.
While visiting Cycle of Life, a non-profit cycling organisation, the Prince revealed his children’s playful approach to bike riding. He explained: “My children quite like pulling just the back brake and sliding along. Usually the back wheel will come past you. #princeharry #meghanmarkle #kingcharles #royalfamily #princewilliam #katemiddleton #camilla #princeandrew #sarahferguson #princesscharlotte #princegeorge #princeloius #archie #britishroyals #royals #princessanne
