Hi folks! I’m headed to Keene, New Hampshire in early October to officiate a wedding and then lying out of Portland, Maine two weeks later, and I would love to put together a gravel tour connecting southern New Hampshire and southern Maine.
I’m considering the [VTXL](https://bikepacking.com/routes/vtxl/) with some modifications and bus travel on either end, but I was wondering if anyone here has recommendations for rail trails or other resources to check out that might help me make a more direct (or awesome) route between the two cities. It’ll be my first time bikepacking in the northeast and I’m not sure where to look!
I’ll be bringing either my El Mariachi or my Journeyer depending on the route. Lots of experience solo touring and not afraid to get weird/quest into a little bit of unknown; pic of death mud somewhere in AZ. Thanks so much!
